We are in love with the whimsical elegance and personal touches of Betz & Andrew's wedding at Nicollet Island Pavilion. Betz's stunning vintage dress has been passed down by several generations in her family. The Nicollet Island Inn served as the perfect backdrop for the getting ready space, where the bride and her ladies got beautified with soft, romantic hair and makeup. The classic, vintage look paired with a touch of sparkle in the accessories is just so lovely!
The gents keep things fresh and fun with light grey suits, floral ties, and the groom is even sporting bright pink socks! This is such a great look for spring and summer weddings!
Betz & Andrew exchanged a heartfelt first look on the veranda at Nicollet Island Pavilion, which overlooks the Mississippi River and downtown Minneapolis. We love Andrew's expression when he sees Betz for the first time - so sweet! The bridal party then explored the grounds with Brandon Werth Photography for some amazing photo opportunities. The mismatched neutral bridesmaids dresses paired with bright florals from Spruce Flowers and Home is SO gorgeous for an outdoor wedding. This location is definitely a springtime bride's dream!
Betz & Andrew's riverfront ceremony at Nicollet Island Pavilion was simply enchanting. Betz's father crafted the ceremony arbor as a symbol of his love and excitement for the two of them to be married. The lush trees and greenery makes it hard to believe that we are right on the edge of downtown Minneapolis! The ceremony was sentimental, sweet and full of joy.
The wedding reception was full of great food, fun and dancing! Betz displayed family photos in an old wooden hutch that showed the history of her bridal gown being worn by her grandmother, mother, aunts and other family members. The menu, catered by Mintahoe Catering & Events, featured delicious entrees including Chicken Roulade, Alaskan Halibut and Butternut Squash Ravioli. Dessert was a classic buttercream tiered cake accented with pops of bright coral flowers!
