Emmalee + Michael's Ashery Lane Farm Wedding
As planners, we truly do look forward to each and every wedding day we plan with our couples. We love seeing the details we have been talking about and envisioning come full-circle, thanks to our couples’ incredible teams of wedding professionals, and we love watching as pairs officially become married and truly enjoy every moment throughout their celebrations. The only way to describe Emmalee and Michael’s late summer wedding day is to say they delighted in their day from the moment it began until they departed at the end of the night.
Emmalee and her bridesmaids all spent their morning getting ready at Hotel Landing. They enjoyed mimosas and hair and makeup, and they took plenty of selfies together. These gals were fun, and they were all so thrilled when Emmalee put on her Sarah Seven wedding dress. We loved the off the shoulder details of her gown!
The bride and bridesmaids and groom and groomsmen then traveled to the ceremony at Church of Saint Anne. When Emmalee walked down the aisle, we’re certain E+M’s guests all had a “wow” moment not only when they saw Emmalee as a bride but also when they caught their first glimpse of her bouquet. Bloomberry Floral truly knocked this bouquet out of the park! The organic style matched Emmalee and Michael’s wedding day perfectly, and we’re certain Emmalee loved carrying it.
Post vows, Emmalee, Michael, their wedding party, and their guests traveled to Ashery Lane Farm. The venue offers a wonderful barn space that feels far more modern. The exposed beams in the ceiling are always a favorite detail, and we loved how they paired with the wooden cross-back chairs, table numbers, and ivory centerpieces complete with greenery by Bloomberry Floral. Plus, we also love that Ashery Lane Farm is home to an apple orchard! The orchard offered in-season apples, which served as the ultimate photo accessory, and the perfect addition to Emmalee and Michael’s couple’s portraits.
E+M’s celebration kicked off with their first dance before everyone dined on a menu provided by D’Amico Catering. The pair looked so happy while cutting their cake, and they didn’t stop smiling while they were on the dance floor with their guests while Bluewater Kings Band played. Plenty of professional photos were captured by Ashley of Gilded Sparrow, and we also loved seeing the polaroids Emmalee, Michael, and their guests captured throughout the night!
Emmalee and Michael’s wedding day was pure fun, and we are so grateful to have played a part in their Minneapolis celebration with an excellent team surrounding us (and them!).
