Wedding Party Gifts for your Bridesmaids and Groomsmen

Finding the perfect gift for your bridesmaids and groomsmen (as well as your bridesmen and grooms gals) doesn't have to be a chore. We know the options can be overwhelming, so we've assembled a quick reference list to spark your imagination. Many couples forget to budget for this expense, so we'll give you a tip now! We recommend that a bridesmaids/groomsmen gift is in the range of $50-$150. It is a big investment of time and money to be a member of a bridal party. And of course, your friends/family are more than happy to be a participant in such a major moment in your life. But, showing your appreciation with thanks and a token is not just good etiquette, but what you should do for these wonderful people in your life (you know they would do the same).

In our experience, there are two gifting categories that are always a hit.

  • Wearables
  • Consumables

When it comes to wearables, think along the lines of something thoughtful/sentimental,  useful and/or personalized. Some items can check off all the boxes, which makes it a sure fire hit for your crew/tribe/posse.

When it comes to consumables, we don't necessarily mean food or beverage, but those are a great place to start! We're speaking more of a generalization for something that should be used quickly.

Bar Items

One of our all-time favorite groomsmen gifts is this decanter by Groovy Guy Gifts.  This beauty is refined and dignified. It looks amazing on the kitchen counter, on a bar cart or as a display piece on a bookshelf.  We're actually pretty obsessed with ours and use it often! It's a classic item with lots of personality.

To really elevate this gift, consider also including a favorite adult beverage to be used with said decanter.

Accessories

Perhaps you have a crew of dudes that like to dress in stylish, dapper perfection. From cufflinks to money clips, a gentleman can appreciate a solid piece of metal. Ha!  This trio is a fantastic choice. The items are versatile, customizable and work great for both everyday use + wedding festivities.

If you're a "shop local" supporter and prefer to browse for something in person, one of our favorite local shops is Woodchuck USA  - they have awesome bottle openers!

We're partial to businesses that offer a stellar product and phenomenal service- so, of course, considering the team at Groovy Guy Gifts is amazing, we're pretty sure you don't need to look any further! ;)

As we've mentioned,  a wearable item is always a hit and of course, makes for adorable photos. We adore Show Me Your MuMu robes. They're SO pretty and romantic. And come in a ton of great patterns and colors.

To give these gifts a little extra "oompf",  personalize it! Just keep this in mind-the downside to something monogrammed or personalized with a role versus a name, is that it may not be worn again.  Your bestie loves you, but she's likely not going to wear her adorable "maid of honor" tank out to run errands. However, one that says "Sarah" or "Bestie" is much more usable in the long run.

Jewelry

Just about every lady we know can appreciate a tasteful accessory. Be it a bracelet, pair of earrings, necklace or hair piece, it's hard to go wrong with a piece that coordinates with your ensemble.  We could spend hours on Etsy looking for the perfect fit. We also adore BHLDN.  The sweet, dainty piece below is a crowd pleaser!

We're suckers for a thoughtful goodie bag or box too. White Spruce Market here in Minneapolis has the cutest boxed gifts. And they always have great suggestions too.  Stop on by to see and tell 'em we sent you!

Experience

You can't put a price tag on the gift of time with your closest friends. So, don't be afraid to gift them with a trip to the spa, a weekend getaway or an exciting excursion. Be it one-on-one with each of the members of your bridal party or as a group, gifting an experience will be remembered for years to come!
