Light of Hope Gala

There are a handful of organizations that we, in both a professional and personal capacity, support. Light of Hope Kenya is one of them. If you aren't familiar with this incredible organization, here is a quick overview: "In a part of the world too often defined by poverty, there sits an oasis of optimism and faith. This is Light of Hope, a home, and school for girls that provides for the needs of more than 60 Kenyan girls. Located on 15 acres in Naivasha, Kenya, Light of Hope exists to end the cycles of poverty, abandonment, and abuse for the young girls it serves.

Recognizing that education is the key to opportunity, Light of Hope offers quality schooling in a safe and secure, Christian environment where necessities such as food, medicine and clothing are provided.

The essence of Light of Hope lies in healing hearts and minds. Caregivers who offer guidance and emotional support surround the residents of Light of Hope, and teach important life skills like cooking, gardening, and self-care. These skills, in turn, enable the young girls of Light of Hope to embrace a future of self-sufficiency.

We had the honor of coordinating and designing last year's annual gala. This year, we have the honor to also MC the event! We're ONE short week away from 15th annual The Light of Hope Gala! This year's gala will be hosted on Saturday, March 11th from 5:30 PM-11:00 PM at Minneapolis Marriott Southwest.
