Sam & Joe's Red Barn Farm Jewish Wedding
A red barn wedding
Sam & Joe hosted a lovely Jewish wedding at Red Barn Farm in Northfield. The day was full of thoughtful, quirky details and a subtle vintage theme. With a beautiful soft mint and blush color palette, it was a great summer wedding combination. The couple's birchwood Chuppah wasn't just decorated with lush florals and beautiful sheer fabric. But also of photos of those that couldn't be with them on the wedding day- including their feline fur baby.
The ceremony included traditional Jewish elements- the Ketubah (Jewish marriage contract) & the breaking of the glass (always so fun to watch).
The newlyweds enjoyed a portion of the cocktail hour with guests since they opted for a first look and family photos prior to the ceremony.
All of the florals were absolutely gorgeous. Large garden-style bouquets were made with copious greenery and lush white + blush blooms. They looked so lovely with the soft mint bridesmaids dresses and Sam's lace gown (with a blush underlay).
The reception
For the reception, tables were decorated with bud vases overflowing with greenery and single stems. Each place setting had a uniquely patterned vintage plate- which tied in not just color, but the theme (since Red Barn Farm actually touts itself as a vintage-inspired venue).
The head table was adorned with a lovely ivory sequin lace linen and had a beautiful floral & greenery garland backdrop.
Sam & Joe are just a touch quirky (and adorable), so the first dance mash-up of Etta James and Walk the Moon was perfect for them.
Their menu was delicious! For cocktail hour, guests were served brick oven baked baguettes with two spreads (Basil pesto; brick oven roasted marinara) and Meatballs. For dinner, a buffet of Spring salad w/ crumbly goat cheese, brick oven pizza with chicken breasts, roasted garden vegetables & Mediterranean orzo pasta.
We loved their adorable (and clever) jam jar favors and how they ended the night with late night munchies and s'mores (you can never go wrong with this combination)!
Sam & Joe were a great couple to work with and we had so much fun working with them! It was a blessing to welcome them to the Rosetree family and we can't wait to see where life takes them!
