Emily & Paul's Como Park Zoo and Conservatory Wedding
It's throw back time! Almost exactly one year ago, Emily & Paul held their wedding day at the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory- a truly unique venue in St. Paul. The couple selected a bold, dramatic color combination of red & black, with touches of white. Her bridesmaids wore either short red cocktail style one shoulder dresses or a bold floral print full-length dress. The combination was striking! Emily's dress was a stunning drop-waist lace and tulle low-back gown that looked so beautiful on her. She paired it with a cascading bouquet of red orchids, white peonies, and assorted lilies.
The duo's ceremony was in the Sunken Garden (inside the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory)- a really spectacular, picturesque space ideal for the nature lover that wants an intimate option.
Following Emily & Paul's intimate ceremony, was their reception at the Bullard Rainforest Auditorium. Which provides spectacular views of the Como Zoo grounds and Marjorie McNeely Conservatory tower gardens. It also has an adjoining terrace great for soaking in the sweeping views of the gorgeous grounds.
In addition to the ceremony guests, the reception was also attended by an adorable penguin (unexpected & much welcomed perk of getting married at a zoo)!
Decor was simple black and white, with the focus on laid-back fun and the venue's naturally beautiful view.
It was a wonderful celebration and we're thrilled for the couple!
